B-BBEE

Afrizan Cadet Academy undergoes annual voluntary ratings of its B-BBEE status by a reputed independent economic empowerment rating and research agency.  At our first assessment in 2010 we attained a Level 1 rating as a Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE).  This is the highest rating that can be achieved by an organisation.

In addition, we have been classified as a value-adding supplier.  This means that any spend by our clients with the Afrizan Cadet Academy and Afrizan Personnel is recognised at 168.75% preferential BEE procurement spend.

The Cadet Academy is committed to the support and development of black economic empowerment in South Africa and considers this, through the development of previously disadvantaged South Africans, essential for the successful transformation of South African society. To this end, the Academy employs only previously disadvantaged candidates.

As an extension of our business ethics and good corporate governance, our black economic empowerment policy is a strategic initiative which enjoys the support and commitment of all executives and employees.
